The Himmel Haus Bed and Breakfast suites all provide a soothing atmosphere and comfort. Each suite includes its own queen size bed and a private bathroom. There is a self-check-in process for each suite with combination keypad lock, allowing for access when it is convenient for you.

General Guest Information

WiFi

Please refer to the information card in your room for the WiFi access code.

 Breakfast

We begin brewing coffee in the main Kitchenette area between 7-7:30am. If your schedule begins earlier, or you just want to some coffee anytime (we do not provide decaf coffee), feel free to brew a pot. Tea bags are also available for use anytime.  Each morning you will find continental breakfast items on the top shelf of the fridge, breakfast sandwiches and bagels in the freezer, and items in the cupboards of the kitchenette—please look around and help yourself.  Continental breakfast items may include but are not limited to:  breakfast sandwiches, fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries, milk, coffee or tea, and juice.

For the Gipfel Suite, the breakfast items will be available in the mini-fridge in your room. For the Wolke Suite and Das Zimmer guests, breakfast items will be available in the common area refrigerator and kitchenette.

If you have special dietary restrictions and did not note them during the reservation process, please contact us ASAP and we will make every effort to accommodate reasonable requests. Please note: due to limited resources within our small town, gluten-free breakfast items are not available at this time.

 Your Room

The heating/cooling system is set around 70 degrees year round for the entire house. Because individual room temperatures vary and each guest may prefer it warmer or cooler, there are ceiling fans and fireplace/heaters in every guest room. There is also an extra blanket in each room’s closet.

Common Areas/Sharing

The areas of the house that all guests share include:

• The main living area with gas-log fireplace (please ask for assistance to use)

  • 42” TV with cable

  • Board and Card Games

• Kitchenette and all appliances (fridge, icemaker, dishwasher, toaster oven, electric skillet, waffle maker.  NOTE: There is not a stove/oven in the kitchenette.)

• Laundry facilities, including washer/dryer, iron and ironing board

• Plenty of seating on the porch, which includes:

  • Fire Pit—firewood provided, lighter located in storage bench on porch

  • BBQ Grill—charcoal provided, located in storage bench on porch

  • Bicycle storage hooks on ceiling of porch

  • Bicycle cleaning rags and tire pump—located in storage bench on porch

  • Stunning views of the valley of the town of Hermann.
